Rohen Services supplies and ships solar products, lithium batteries, inverters, CCTV equipment and full system packages across South Africa. All deliveries are handled through The Courier Guy using approved road-freight services suited to heavy and sensitive electrical equipment.
This policy explains how shipping is calculated, which services are used, and what customers can expect once an order has been placed.
1. Where We Deliver
We deliver to all major cities and towns in South Africa, including:
- Gauteng
- North West
- Free State
- Western Cape
- Eastern Cape
- KwaZulu-Natal
- Limpopo
- Mpumalanga
- Northern Cape
Remote-area deliveries are possible, but may attract additional courier fees.
2. Shipping Methods We Use
All orders are shipped using The Courier Guy Road Freight Services.
We use the following service types depending on parcel size and weight:
Approved Shipping Services
- ECOR – Economy Road (default for large/heavy items)
- ECO / ECOD – Economy Standard
- INN / IND – Inland Services
- LLS / LLX – Large Load Services (for big batteries and inverters)
These services are safe and compliant for lithium batteries and solar equipment.
Services We Do NOT Use
For safety and compliance reasons, we do not use:
- Air services
- Overnight services (ONX / OVN / LOX)
- Same-Day services (SDX / SPX)
- ECOB or budget services
Lithium batteries cannot be transported by air or overnight couriers.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on:
- The parcel dimensions (length, width, height)
- The parcel weight and volumetric weight
- Delivery address
- Courier Guy rate for the applicable service
All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR).
If the order contains multiple items, they may be shipped in more than one parcel depending on size.
4. Handling Time
Orders are processed Monday to Friday.
- In-stock items: 1–2 working days
- Special-order or back-order items: 3–7 working days
Customers receive tracking numbers by email once the courier has collected the parcel.
5. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times (after dispatch):
- Major cities: 2–4 working days
- Towns & regional areas: 3–6 working days
- Outlying/remote areas: 5–7 working days
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or high-volume seasons.
6. Lithium Battery Transport
Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries must be sent via approved road-freight services only.
Rohen Services follows all transport regulations. Batteries are shipped:
- In original or compliant packaging
- With correct labelling
- Using compatible Courier Guy services
No overnight or air freight is permitted.
7. Damages & Insurance
All parcels are packed securely.
If your order arrives damaged:
- Photograph the parcel before opening
- Photograph any product damage
- Email sales@rohen.co.za within 24 hours
- Include your order number and contact details
Courier insurance claims must be submitted within the allowed timeframe, so prompt reporting is essential.
8. Incorrect Addresses or Failed Deliveries
Please make sure your shipping address is correct.
If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or repeated failed delivery attempts, the courier costs for reshipping will be charged to the customer.
9. Local Pickup (North West Province)
Local pickup is available by arrangement in the North West.
Customers can select “Local Pickup” at checkout and we will confirm collection details directly.
