Shipping & Delivery Policy

Rohen Services provides professional shipping for solar products, lithium batteries, inverters, and CCTV equipment nationwide across South Africa. To ensure the safety of sensitive electrical components, all deliveries are handled exclusively via The Courier Guy Road-Freight services.

1. Order Processing & Handling Time

  • Handling Time: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 Business Days (Monday to Friday).
  • Order Cut-off Time: Orders placed before 14:00 (SAST) will begin processing the same business day.
  • Operating Hours: Our dispatch team operates Monday through Friday. We do not ship on weekends or South African public holidays.

2. Shipping Speed & Transit Times

Because we prioritize the safety of high-value solar equipment and comply with lithium battery transport regulations, we use Road-Freight only.

  • Standard Transit Time: 5–7 Business Days after payment clearance.
  • Total Delivery Time: 6–9 Business Days (1–2 days handling + 5–7 days transit).
  • Service Areas: We deliver to all 9 provinces. Remote or outlying areas may experience the upper end of the estimated transit time.

3. Shipping Costs Shipping is calculated based on total order weight and is shown transparently at checkout. Our standard rates (inclusive of VAT) are:

  • 0kg – 5kg: R 105.00
  • 5.1kg – 15kg: R 175.00
  • 15.1kg – 25kg: R 230.00
  • 25.1kg and above: R 230.00 + R 8.50 per kg (Economy Road Freight)

4. Lithium Battery Transport Compliance

In compliance with South African safety regulations, all Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries are shipped:

  • In compliant, reinforced packaging with correct hazardous material labeling.
  • Exclusively via approved Road-Freight.
  • Note: We strictly do not use Air Freight or Overnight Express for battery shipments to ensure public safety.

5. Tracking & Delivery

  • Tracking: Once your order is collected by The Courier Guy, a tracking number and link will be sent to your registered email address.
  • Inspection: All items are inspected before dispatch. Please inspect your parcel upon arrival.
  • Damages: If a parcel arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and contents and contact sales@rohen.co.za within 24 hours.

6. Local Pickup (North West Province)

Customers in the North West Province may select Local Pickup at checkout. Collection details and a scheduled time will be confirmed by our team once the order is ready.
